All the temples are located within a minute drive from the Valletta port, except for Tarxien which is only a 10-minute drive and Ġgantija which you can reach by boat. The archaeological sites are nowadays managed by Heritage Malta. The Barrakka Lift’s upper station is located at Upper Barrakka Gardens, a wonderful public park offering undoubtedly the most spectacular views of the Grand Harbour.
